Esther 10

The beginning of Esther started with a description of Mordecai (and the Jews) gloomy situation. But through thick and thin, Mordecai “…worked for the good of his people and spoke up for the welfare of all the Jews” (Esther 10:3). The end of Esther is encouraging to hear: even when the going gets tough, as long as you hold steadfast to your beliefs, work for the good of the people, and trust in God as Mordecai did then things will be good according to God’s plan. Thus, if we’re going through a tough time, we should remember the boldness and courage of Esther and the steadfast faith of┬áMordecai that helped them endure through near death.
