Isaiah Chapter 37

Always Trust in The Lord

King Hezekiah’s piety is definitely an example to follow. After speaking to his palace administrator and secretary about King Sennacherib’s blasphemy, rather than begin to assemble an army or fortify Jerusalem, he fully and completely puts his trust in God. We see this when he sends his prayer request to the prophet Isaiah. When faced with a tough situation or when tasks seem insurmountable, where do we put our trust? In man (self), or in God?
