What would you do if you knew that you only have but a few weeks to months of life left as cancer ravages your body? Perhaps even closer, have you visited someone who you knew will be passing on soon? Were you close to that person? What would you say to him/her?
Whenever I know I will be leaving a place for good, or for a long time, I take a moment to savor it. It’s like appreciating someone before they are leaving.
As much as we think and know that life is short, unfortunately at the prime of your years, you will feel invincible and that’s when you start to take things for granted.
