7 The LORD reigns forever;
he has established his throne for judgment.
8 He rules the world in righteousness
and judges the peoples with equity.
9 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
This is a phrase of reassurance. The Lord does indeed reign forever. The psalm is a statement of truth, that the Lord is where we can run to if we are being oppressed. It is a good reminder for me to not put stock of the things of man, but rather seek after the Lord. Trust that he will continue to provide, and that he is the master who reigns righteously. Lord may you be praised, hallelujah!
