Song of Solomon – Chapter 6
Six chapters into Song of Solomon and I am still a little bit confused. Is the point of the book so far just to gain a deeper look into the love shared by the Lover and the Beloved? Or is the book supposed to be an allegory that describes Christ’s relationship with the church? If its the latter, that requires a little more digging and interpreting of the metaphors in order to get pass the eroticism of the chapters thus far. Thoughts anyone?
