32nd Annual Bike MS: City to Shore Ride
Testimonials: Michele Chen, Laurence Tom
Update: Desmond Ling
Dear SNL brothers and sisters,
On Saturday, September 29th, 19 team members of Team C4 will be part of 7,000 cyclists riding in the 32nd Annual Bike MS: City to Shore ride! Our team consists of friends and members of CCC&C including many SNLers! We will be riding either 75-100 miles on this first day from Woodcrest Station in Cherry Hill, NJ and riding to Ocean City, NJ. Some of us some of us will be riding another 75 miles on Sunday by reversing the route. I am looking for your support for our team! There are multiple ways of supporting our team:
1. Donate! All donations will go to the National MS Society- Greater Delaware Valley Chapter. These funds will be used to support the 14,000 people in the area that live with multiple sclerosis. One of those people with MS is one of my co-workers, so you’ll be supporting her along with the many others who live with MS. Each team member has a minimum fundraising requirement, so if you’re interested in donating, please let me know so I can steer you to people that still need funds.
2. Pray! All the team members will be riding distances of anywhere from 75-175 miles over the course of one or two days. Please pray for our safety as we continue our training in these final days and during the ride.
3. Cheer us on at the finish line(s)! There are two dates and places you can cheer us on:
a. Saturday, September 29th in Ocean City, NJ
b. Sunday, September 30th at Woodcrest Station in Cherry Hill, NJ
Each day, the majority of the team will arrive at the finish line between 3:00-4:00 P.M.
My team members along with the other cyclists in the ride would greatly appreciate anyone that would cheer them along on the ride. If you are interested in attending, please let me know. If you are available to drive to either finish line, please let me know too.
If there are any questions, feel free to contact me. I look forward to seeing some of you along the ride or at the finish line. Thanks in advance for your support!
