“These past 11 months I have had the pleasure of serving as the ESM Admin Assistant. This job has challenged me in many ways. During my time at CCCNC, I was able to really focus on what’s important in life, glorying God through my thoughts and my actions. I recently attended the memorial service of someone whom I had a great love and respect for. He had hoped and prayed that Christ would be glorified through his life and through his death. I walked away from that service with a renewed sense of hope and a clearer vision of who God is. His prayers had been answered. God was glorified even in his death. He had a favorite quote that pretty much sums up what I have been learning.
“The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them. A man may live long, yet live very little.”-Montaigne
My time here at CCCNC is coming to an end. I’ve had a wonderful time getting to know everyone. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped foot in this church! What a blessing that was. It’s not time for me to focus my attention on a little guy who needs a bit more of my time and energy. I don’t want to waste this precious opportunity! May God be glorified in all that I do.”
