Joy Fellowship Counselors Needed

As we prepare for the new school year, we are in need of new counselors for Joy fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve and disciple youth as they begin to discover for themselves who Jesus Christ is and how He is at work in their daily lives. Joy fellowship is the youth group at CCC&C and kids from grades 7-12.

The youth group of CCC&C consists of middle/high school students, ranging from 7th-12th grades. Despite the wide age gap, these youth love each other dearly and call themselves true family in Christ. At our meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, you’ll find these passionate and fun-loving youth jumping up and down praising God, playing hilarious large group games, pondering tough questions as they figure out how to apply His word to their lives, praying for the city as they walk through different parts of Philadelphia, washing each others’ feet (e.g. as a way of initiating newcomers), and more.

We are looking for youth counselors (baptism required) as well as seeking a youth ministry intern who has preferably obtained (or is working towards) a Master’s degree at a recognized evangelical seminary or who has had theological training.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, please have them contact Charles Young at for more information.
