Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission (SBRM)
Testimony from: Brother Ralph Brother Ralph
Have you ever been curious as to what we do at Sunday breakfast? Have you been feeling challenged on being missional in our community? Well, here is an opportunity for you to join us if you are interested! We fellowship over at SBRM every 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month.
About Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission: It’s a non-profit Christian organization that ministers to the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless and disadvantaged people in Philadelphia.
Our Mercy Ministry catalyst group serves there twice per month and typically we spend time in fellowship with some of the men in SBRM’s Over-comers ministry, which is a program whose purpose is to get its participants from homelessness to being self-sufficient via Jesus.
The main goal of our serving at SBRM is to get to know our neighbors and to share God’s love and the gospel. Too often the poor and homeless are ignored, but because we understand how God’s grace has impacted our lives, we aim to treat the homeless as God intended us to treat all people – as his creations, worthy of being treated with dignity and hospitality.
